Welcome to Chipping Cheddar, where supernaturals are hidden in plain sight
I'm less than thrilled when the Federal Bureau of Magic sends a training instructor to make sure my skills are up to snuff. Agent Quinn Redmond is an uptight fae with a rigid approach to rules and regulations that even a do-gooder like me finds stifling. When an eerie fog settles over the town, residents begin acting out in response, resulting in overtime hours for Chief Fox and local law enforcement. Things take a deadly turn when one of the residents ends up dead and I worry his death is only the beginning.
Will I manage to shine a light on the situation or is the whole town destined to remain in a fog?
No Guts, No Fury (Federal Bureau of Magic Cozy Mystery, Book 3) is a full-length humorous paranormal cozy mystery.

No Guts No Fury Federal Bureau of Magic Cozy Mystery Book 3 edition by Annabel Chase Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews
- This book has a very charming lead character, gentle humor, a very good future love interest, and some nice characterization. It also has an extended family for Our Hero that is cringe worthy, a setting with appalling place names, and a work set up that doesn't work. If you took Our Hero and Future Love Interest out of this and put them in a more rounded setting like Spellbound or Starry Hallow they'd be winners. Here they're just high points of a series I want to skim one quarter of the time...
- The series had a rough-ish start but it seems the author has moved past that. Book # 2 was great and in this third entry, the author combines a fun premise with an extremely interesting group of characters, humor, a good mystery and romance (or the possibility of it) into a truly engaging read.
- The author is so great at writing stories that you breeze through. I know it's hard to put my book down as I get caught up in the story.
- Well developed characters and keeps you on your toes! Only issue is Yellow Fever is not transmitted from one person to another, its transmitted from a mosquito bite.
- Love the series and can't get enough of it. Waiting on the next book. My wish is for Fury to get her dream come true.
- Really enjoy this author as she suspends reality to show us people and others as people really are. Enjoy it.
- Number three in the series. And this one she wakes up to fog everywhere. The fog doesn’t seem to want to go away it just stays with him forever and she’s got to figure out why and how to get rid of it because it doesn’t seem like it’s normal natural. When people around town starts doing strange things that they would’ve never done before she knows there’s something not right. Plus she has to put up with a trainer that came from the Federal Bureau of magic who is there to test her. He doesn’t have a Sence of humor until the fog seems to make everybody do Strange stuff. Hope the next book comes out soon because I really did enjoy this I didn’t think I would but I have.
- Awesome. A wonderful dysfunctional family that think nothing of killing each other and then reviving them from the dead. Demons, vampires, black witches are just some of the things that make up the household. But she is different - she doesn't want to use power against anyone and if she does will it change her even more. Change her into a Fury!
A gray mist starts rolling into town just as the training instructor from the FBM (she was moved over from the FBI after an incident that got her her black fury wings). The instructor is uptight, primarily and proper. But things start changing in the town. People who have always been 'good' start behaving badly. Is the fog the spirits of the men that were denied docking rights many years ago due to illness? Then two suicides. Is the fog responsible - she thinks so. Will they be able to fight the fog? What will it cost her?
